When Type-Moon launched its mobile website in 2009, they introduced two new characters as the site's mascots: cheery, orange-haired Hibiki, easily-flustered, green-haired Chikagi, and a sentient Mr. Cellphone that often makes jokes at the expense of the two girls.

They haven't shown up in any official media since the site got revamped in 2014, and are now largely unknown to the larger Type-Moon fanbase.

During their "heyday", they got a couple of skits in the Take-Moon gag manga, two original manga, a Carnival Phantasm episode and some CD dramas. One of the main themes of their appearances is Chikagi's crush on Hibiki—something the cellphone jokes about often, leading to him being snapped in half by Chikagi in a reocurring gag—

Some other characters, however, have a more positive reaction to their relationship—

I love the characters' dynamics, I love the yuri,and I love the lore that pulls from the world of churches and Dead Apostles of Tsukihime rather than servants from Fate—and this website is actually named after their manga!

Who knows, maybe someone at Type-Moon will write a VN about them someday, and they'll get to shine in the spotlight once again — it doesn't hurt to dream a little ;)

A 4-koma manga about Hibiki and Chikagi's adventures while working at Cafe Ahnenerbe

A one-volume, story focused manga about how Hibiki and Chikagi met each other and the adventures that ensue.

Anime

Episode of Carnival Phantasm featuring Hibiki and Chikagi(mostly in the first half).

Katsuragi Chikagi- a girl living in the shadow of her older sister, she plans on laying low during her high-school years.

Hibino Hibiki- a cheery girl hiding a secret. She turns Chikagi's life upside down.

Mr.Cellphone- a mean-spirited talking cell phone. He's also Hibiki's grandpa and a dead apostle vampire. Don't sweat the details.

Sugata Sunao- Hibiki and Chikagi's friend, and an Executor-in-training from the Holy Church.

Katsuragi Chidori- Chikagi's popular older sister.

Sarashina Serena- a girl who likes Chikagi's older sister a little too much.

Kuroi Nozomi- a sightly irresponsible teacher at the girl's school.
