I've become better at noticing the passing of seasons since I started keeping a diary (on paper, not this one) more regularly a couple years ago. I always thought of September as a dreary month with nothing good in it, and never noticed that it's when it starts to rain. It's like this song]]>, come to think of it... In these rainy mornings, I've been drinking milk tea by my bedroom window, a scene that would be more romantic if not for the Gintama episodes constantly playing on the tablet near the teapot…but that's not what I wanted to talk about today, not exactly. You see, a while ago, I found out that my favorite album of all time had been taken down from every single streaming platform it was on. It was an indie album and not well-known by any means, so I pretty much considered it lost and regretted never downloading it when I had the chance. Well, today I was browsing through the music I have downloaded on my phone, something I haven't done since my earbuds broke over a year ago, and what should I find in the files but that very album! I nearly cried from happiness. Thank you, past me…! It's now backed up in three different places. This was such a scare that I'm thinking of borrowing my dad's computer to burn it on a CD—though it would be more of a symbolic gesture than anything since I don't have a CD player.
