One time my friend showed some people putting pokémon cards inside a transparent card holder to use as a keychain. I realized how many cute card holders I saw people selling on the street all the time…the possibilities were endless. Of course, I didn't want them for pokémon cards.

The stand in front of the train station had a lot of models, but the transparent ones with animal ears were the obvious choice.
I resized this year’s birthday art from Yamada Uiro’s twitter and printed it out on glossy photo paper. The heart was something I used to decorate a magical girl wand back in my teens, and the bow is from my birthday cake from many years ago. The holder came attached to a lanyard, which I changed for this chain I took from an old coin purse I no longer wanted. I tied a bow on some thin ribbon and hot glued everything on.

I'm a bit scared that I'll lose it if I hang it on my bag, so unless I get an itabag in the future it'll keep living on the corkboard above my bed(a perfect spot to give him a goodnight kissie if I'm so inclined).

My friend always thinks it's a picture of Dazai. I'm not sure if I see the similarity…
