About a week ago, I gave in to my whims and bought some secondhand nyanko-sensei plushies (I had to convince myself it was worth because the cheapest shipping option was more than 50 bucks RIP)
Anyways, they were set to get here around the end of March, but lo and behold, yesterday afternoon as I tried to keep myself awake I heard the mailman call my name from the street—all my sleepiness was gone as if by magic ଘ(੭˃ᴗ˂)੭
I'm sorry the picture is so poorly lit |ω;`)
The freebies were such a wonderful surprise. When I saw that Aikatsu card I nearly cried ‘cuz I never thought I'd have one irl LOL. I had to use Google Lens to find who the mysterious boy was (an Enstars character apparently, whatever that is)
His sailor uniform is super cute though so he lives on my corkboard now
So does the Aikatsu card (ㅅ´ ˘ `)
The pink panda thing seemed to have been a passcase, but the back part looks like it fell off. I'll use it for some craft project one of these days.
My mythical (literally!) pull of a shiny Celebi is now attempting the pjackk challenge(?) with some friends on my shelf
The (larger) nyanko-sensei has made quite a splash in my house. My dad is all over him. The listing pics made him look quite old, and I was expecting to have to replace his stuffing, so imagine my surprise when I received him brand-new with his tag still on. He's larger than I expected, too—perfect in every way.
Everyone's been having fun chilling with him on the sofa
I've been using the tiny ones to terrorize my brother. He's convinced that there are actually three of them and he just hasn't found the last one yet.
I super wish there actually were three of them so I could recreate this scene
This was such a nice experience, I might end up getting the other stuff I've been eyeing one of these days…or maybe not. Well, it's not like I have anything else to spend that money on other than anime plushies, right? (• ▽ •;)
